أكد الدكتور مينا يوحنا، رئيس منظمة الضمير العالمي لحقوق الإنسان بالعالم، أن العنصرية وجميع أشكال التمييز تمثل جريمة إنسانية خطيرة وانتهاكًا صارخًا للمواثيق الدولية وحقوق الإنسان، لما لها من آثار مدمرة على حياة الأفراد وكرامتهم والسلم المجتمعي.

وأوضح أن مواجهة العنصرية لم تعد خيارًا، بل مسؤولية أخلاقية وإنسانية مشتركة، تتطلب تضافر جهود الحكومات والمؤسسات الدولية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، إلى جانب الأفراد، لنشر ثقافة المساواة وقبول الآخر، وتجريم خطاب الكراهية بكافة أشكاله.

وشدد رئيس منظمة الضمير العالمي لحقوق الإنسان على أن الصمت تجاه العنصرية يساهم في ترسيخها، داعيًا المجتمع الدولي إلى اتخاذ مواقف حاسمة وإجراءات فعالة تضمن حماية الكرامة الإنسانية وبناء مجتمعات أكثر عدلًا وسلامًا، بما يحقق مستقبلًا آمنًا للأجيال القادمة.

Dr. Mina Youhana, President of the World Conscience Organization for Human Rights, emphasized that racism and all forms of discrimination constitute a serious human crime and a blatant violation of international human rights conventions, with devastating impacts on individuals’ lives, dignity, and social peace.

He stressed that confronting racism is no longer optional but a shared moral and human responsibility, requiring the combined efforts of governments, international organizations, civil society, and individuals alike, to promote a culture of equality, acceptance of others, and to criminalize all forms of hate speech.

Dr. Youhana underlined that silence in the face of racism contributes to its entrenchment, calling on the international community to take decisive actions and effective measures to protect human dignity and build more just and peaceful societies, ensuring a safe future for generations to come.
